Delete it. All of it.

Your Taakie account

Sign in at app.taakie.co.za, open Profile and choose Delete my account. That removes your account and your personal data. A spasie you own with no other members goes too; a spasie you share stays with your teammates. Everything is gone within 24 hours, and backups are purged within 30 days.

To remove single taakies, lysies or files instead, delete them in the app. They're gone right away.

Accounts you connected

Taakie can connect to Google Calendar and Google Drive for you, and, through an agency that uses Taakie, to Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, Google Analytics and TikTok ad accounts for reporting.

• In Taakie:disconnect Google Calendar under Profile, and Google Drive under Settings (a spasie owner or admin). For ad accounts, the agency disconnects them on the client's Integrations tab. We delete the stored access token immediately and the synced reporting data within 30 days.
• On the platform:remove Taakie under Facebook › Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations, Google Account › Security › Third-party apps & services, or the connected apps in TikTok Business Center. This revokes our access at once; ask us by email if you also want the data we already synced deleted.

Ask us to do it

Email hello@taakie.co.zafrom the address you use with Taakie. Tell us what to delete — your whole account, or a connected Meta, Google or TikTok account (name the agency and the account). We confirm within 5 working days and tell you when it's done.

What we have to keep

Records the law requires us to keep, like invoices, stay for as long as South African law says and no longer. Nothing else is kept.
